How Does Roundup Advanced® Concentrate Work?
Roundup Advanced® Concentrate has a fast-acting formula that kills many common annual weeds.
Within hours, Roundup Advanced® Concentrate starts to kill the weed, plant damage will be visible from a few hours to 2 days after spraying.
Active Ingredients
Roundup Advanced® Concentrate contains the active ingredient ammonium soap of fatty acids, which is a contact, non-selective, foliar-applied herbicide. Ammonium soap of fatty acids is a non-selective herbicide, which means that it controls many common weeds and grass.
How Much To Use
When using Roundup Advanced® Concentrate, mix 200 mL with 1 L water.
When Should I Use Roundup Advanced® Concentrate?
Roundup Advanced® Concentrate can be used anytime during the growing season, but it is most effective when applied to young, actively growing weeds, less than 12 cm high. Roundup Advanced® Concentrate works best during warm and dry conditions.
Application during cold weather may delay the appearance of plant damage. If rain falls within 3 hours of treatment, an additional spray may be required. Plant damage will be visible from a few hours to 2 days after spraying. Repeat treatment every 2 to 3 weeks to control new weeds growing from seed and re-growth from bi-annual and perennial weeds.
Where Should I Use Roundup Advanced® Concentrate?
Roundup Advanced® Concentrate can be used on a variety of surfaces, including:
- Driveways
- Sidewalks
- Patios
- Gravel
- Bark mulch
- Around and on buildings
It can be used to kill weeds in:
- Flower beds

- Along fences
