How Does Roundup® Ready-to-Use Grass and Weed Control Work?
Roundup® Ready-to-Use Grass and Weed Control works by killing weeds and grasses down to the root, preventing them from growing back. This product provides a thick, clinging foam that coats weeds and grasses, which marks weeds for up to 5 minutes and lets you easily see where you’ve sprayed. You can also turn the nozzle to the Stream position which provides coarse spray that does not foam.
What Sizes Does This Product Come In?
Roundup® Ready-to-Use Grass and Weed Control comes in three different sizes. Please note, only the 1L and 2L format come with FastAct® Foam, while the 4L comes with a wand applicator
How Much To Use
Spray the weeds or grasses you want to eliminate until thoroughly covered with foam or liquid.For best results, to ensure that Roundup® Ready-to-Use gets down to the roots, avoid tillage or disturbing the treated area for 7-10 days.
How Do You Effectively Use This Product?
To effectively use 2L Roundup® Ready-to-Use Grass and Weed Control:
- Pull trigger sprayer from bottle, and insert hose connector into knob “ON” cap until it “clicks” in place, and twist knob to “ON”.
- Adjust spray nozzle to STREAM for cracks and crevices or FOAM, which marks weeds for up to 5 minutes and lets you easily see where you’ve sprayed.
To effectively use the 4L Roundup® Ready-to-Use Grass and Weed Control with Wand Applicator:
- Remove applicator from side clip, connect the hose, and twist knob “ON”.
- Spray: Twist nozzle at end of applicator wand to desired spray pattern. Ensure trigger lock is disengaged before spraying. Hold trigger for continuous spray, release it to stop spray.
Recommendations across all application types:
- For control of undesirable vegetation, apply to vigorously growing plants. Apply to annual weeds anytime after emergence. For perennial weeds apply after seed heads, flowers or berries appear.
- For Lawn/Garden renovation, skip one mowing prior to treatment. Allow at least 3 days after treatment before disturbing the soil and/or replanting.
- For Brush control, apply after leaves are fully expanded. Treat trees and brush up to 1.5 m in height only.
