How Does Roundup® Super Concentrate Grass & Weed Control Herbicide Work?
Roundup® Super Concentrate Grass & Weed Control Herbicide contains glyphosate, a systemic herbicide that is absorbed by the leaves of plants and transported to the roots, where it interferes with the plant's ability to produce essential amino acids. This allows the herbicide to control the entire plant.
How Much To Use
When using Roundup® Super Concentrate, mix 50 mL of product in 2.5 L of clean water (1 part Roundup, 50 parts water). Apply prepared solution over equivalent of 50 square metres (10 paces x 5 paces*). 1 L of Roundup® Super Concentrate is enough to treat 1000 square metres. Ensure uniform and complete spray coverage but not to the point of run-off.
NOTE: Mix only enough spray solution to treat intended area. Rinse sprayer thoroughly after each use. Do not use hose-end sprayers.
How Do You Effectively Use This Product?
- Twist nozzle at end of applicator wand to desired spray pattern.
- Point applicator wand away from body. Ensure trigger lock is disengaged before spraying. Hold trigger for continuous spray.
- Release trigger to stop spray.
- Spray the weeds or grasses you want to eliminate until thoroughly covered.
For best results ensure that Roundup® Ready-to-Use Tough Brush & Poison Ivy Control with Wand Applicator gets down to the roots – avoid tillage or disturbing the treated area for 7-10 days. This will ensure that the entire plant, including the root, is eliminated.Avoid spray contact on desirable plants as any plant contacted may be controled. When spot treating around desirable plants, shield plants from drift with a piece of cardboard or plastic. If a desirable plant is accidentally sprayed, rinse off immediately with water.Do not apply to the point of run off.

Apply when weeds and grass are actively growing. Apply to annual weeds anytime after emergence. For perennial weeds apply after seed heads, flowers or berries appear.For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather (above 15C) to accelerate systemic movement from foliage to roots.
Apply when air is calm to prevent drift to desirable plants.Do not apply if rainfall is forecast for the time of application. Rain-Proof – Rain or watering two hours after application will not wash away effectiveness. However, heavy rainfall immediately after application may wash the chemical off the foliage and repeat treatment may be required.
All ornamental flowers, trees & shrubs may be planted 1 day after application.
